This summer, the Wellesley Scholarship Foundation (WSF) lost one of its great driving forces and very best friends. Sarah Pedersen was not only WSF Board Member for 12 years, but during that time led remarkable change and growth. As anyone who spent 5 minutes with Sarah sensed, she possessed superhuman qualities of energy, optimism, and altruism. 

 

We are blessed that her passion and legacy involved ensuring that every Wellesley high school graduate who wanted to further their education would have the opportunity to do so, regardless of financial means.

To honor Sarah and continue our shared commitment to the students of the town of Wellesley, the Board of WSF and Pedersen family would like your support to establish a permanent needs-based scholarship in Sarah's name. Your contribution toward our goal of raising $50,000 to create the Sarah Pedersen Memorial Scholarship will be deeply appreciated and help support recipients to serve the world and the people of their communities, just as Sarah did.
